Medication, genetic testing, and additional cycles are priced separately.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fakih IVF | USD 4,500- 6,500 | Usually included | Separate | Available, extra |

ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection)
A technique where a single sperm is injected directly into an egg. Commonly used when male factor infertility is involved, and included in most Dubai IVF packages.
PGT/PGS (preimplantation genetic testing)
Screens embryos for chromosomal abnormalities before transfer.
Adds USD 1,500 to USD 3,000 to the cycle cost but can significantly improve outcomes for patients who have had repeated implantation failure or are over 37.
Medication
Billed separately at all 5 hospitals, and adds USD 1,000 to USD 3,500 depending on your protocol.
All figures are indicative 2026 ranges. Costs vary by protocol, age, and diagnostic complexity. Request a personalised estimate before making any financial decisions.

5 Best IVF Hospitals in Dubai for International Patients
Dubai has over 40 licensed fertility clinics. Most are good. These 5 stand out specifically for international patients.

- Fakih IVF
- Bourn Hall Fertility Centre
- King's College Hospital Dubai

- Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi
1. Fakih IVF, Dubai

30+ years of UAE fertility experience. The most searched IVF brand in the region.
Fakih IVF was founded by Lebanese American fertility specialist Dr Michael Fakih and holds JCIA accreditation.
With multiple locations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, it is the most experienced fertility provider in the UAE.
Best for: Arabic-speaking patients, Muslim-majority country nationals, patients from Pakistan, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and East Africa, markets where Fakih's name is already known before arrival.
Honest note: It is a high-volume clinic. Consultations move at pace. Patients who want a more personal rhythm should ask about the dedicated international patient pathway when booking.

2. Bourn Hall Fertility Centre, Dubai

The world's original IVF network, now in Dubai. Founded by the team behind the world's first IVF baby.
Bourn Hall Fertility Centre was established in Cambridge by the team responsible for Louise Brown, born in 1978. The Dubai clinic follows the same evidence-based protocols, aligned with ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) guidelines.
Best for: UK, Irish, and European patients who recognise the Bourn Hall name, and patients who want a boutique clinic with focused attention rather than a high-volume environment.
Honest note: Smaller patient volumes than Fakih IVF. For some, that is exactly the point.

3. King's College Hospital Dubai
175 years of UK clinical heritage, delivered in Dubai. JCI accredited.
King's College Hospital Dubai operates under the same clinical governance as one of the UK's most respected NHS teaching hospitals, with consultants trained and credentialed in the UK. JCI accredited.
Best for: British patients, patients with complex underlying conditions (endocrinology, urology, genetics) who need a full multi-specialty hospital environment alongside their fertility treatment. Serves both UAE residents and international patients.
Honest note: It is a full-service hospital, not a dedicated fertility clinic. Patients seeking a specialist-only fertility environment may find Fakih IVF or Bourn Hall a better fit.
Ask about IVF at King's College Hospital Dubai.
4. American Hospital Dubai

The only Mayo Clinic Care Network member hospital in the Middle East. JCI accredited.
American Hospital Dubai has treated over 1 million patients and is Newsweek's No. 1 hospital for oncology in Dubai (2026). Its Mayo Clinic Care Network membership brings access to Mayo's clinical protocols and knowledge systems. International patients only.
Best for: American, Canadian, and Western expat patients; anyone wanting North American clinical standards; patients who need a large international patient department with insurance coordination and case managers.
Honest note: Fertility sits within a broader multi-specialty environment. The international patient infrastructure is one of the strongest in Dubai.

5. Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi

Based in Abu Dhabi. The most practical choice if you are flying into the capital or comparing IVF cost in Abu Dhabi vs Dubai.
Burjeel Hospital is a DHCA-regulated multi-specialty hospital with a strong fertility and reproductive medicine department. Multiple UAE locations. Serves both UAE residents and international patients from the GCC, South Asia, and Africa.
Best for: Patients flying into Abu Dhabi International Airport, patients based in the capital, and those for whom the overall trip cost, including accommodation and transport, is a key factor. Burjeel is often the most cost accessible of the 5.
Honest note: Less internationally profiled than Fakih IVF or American Hospital Dubai. For patients prioritising brand recognition, one of the Dubai hospitals may feel more reassuring.

IVF in Dubai vs Turkey, India and the UK: What the Data Shows
Dubai is not the cheapest option. Turkey and India both offer IVF at a lower cost per cycle.
The question is not just about price. It is about which destination is right for your specific situation.
| Factor | Dubai (UAE) | Turkey | India |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost per cycle | USD 4,500- 9,500 | USD 2,500- 5,000 | USD 2,500- 5,000 |
| IVF for married couples | Fully permitted under UAE law | Fully permitted | Fully permitted |
| Third-party donor egg | Not permitted under UAE law | Permitted | Permitted |
| JCI accredited labs | Yes (all 5 hospitals here) | Yes (leading hospitals) | Yes (premium hospitals) |
| English language care | Standard at all 5 hospitals | Available, varies by clinic | Available, varies by clinic |
| GCC proximity | Under 2 hours from Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait City | 3 to 5 hours from GCC | 3 to 4 hours from GCC |
| Regulatory body | DHCCA (Dubai Healthcare City Authority) | Ministry of Health (Turkey) | Ministry of Health (India) |
For GCC residents and patients from Arab and Muslim majority countries:
Dubai's proximity, Arabic-speaking clinical teams, and Islamic-compliant IVF protocols are the deciding factors. The regulatory framework explicitly supports standard IVF for married couples.
For UK patients:
Dubai offers 30 to 50% lower cost than private IVF at home, English-language care, and no waiting list.
For patients already living in the UAE:
There is no additional travel. Costs are materially lower than in the UK or US, with the same regulated clinical environment.
Where Turkey has the advantage:
Pure cost per cycle. It is also the right destination if you need donor egg IVF, which UAE law does not permit for standard cases.

What UAE Law Permits for IVF: ART Regulations and Islamic Compliance
If you are from a Muslim majority country, or if the legal and religious framework of your treatment matters to you, read this section carefully. The rules are clear, and they have been updated.
The current governing law:
Federal Law No. 7 of 2019 Concerning Medically Assisted Reproduction, further amended by Federal Decree Law No. 17 of 2023. This replaced the earlier 2008 legislation.
What is fully permitted for married couples:
Standard IVF using the couple's own eggs and sperm, for transfer into the wife's uterus. This is autologous IVF, the procedure performed by all 5 hospitals in this guide.
Egg freezing for medical reasons (for example, before chemotherapy) and for social reasons (fertility preservation), as of the 2021 Executive Regulations.
Sperm freezing for future use by the couple.
Embryo storage for up to 5 years, extendable upon written request.
What is not permitted under UAE law:
- Fertilisation using a donor egg from a woman other than the wife
- Fertilisation using donor sperm from a man other than the husband
- Implanting the couple's embryo into the uterus of another woman (surrogacy)
- Commercial use of eggs, sperm, or embryos
- Anonymous donor use of any kind
A note on the 2023 amendment:
Federal Decree Law No. 17 of 2023 introduced an important change.
Non-Muslim unmarried couples may now undergo IVF in the UAE without a marriage certificate, subject to providing a parentage declaration approved by the relevant authority in their home country.
This does not affect the rules for Muslim patients, for whom standard Islamic ART principles continue to apply.
What this means for you:
If you are a married couple seeking IVF using your own eggs and sperm, Dubai offers one of the clearest and most regulated frameworks for this procedure anywhere in the world.
The regulatory system is explicitly designed to align with Islamic jurisprudence on medically assisted reproduction.
If your case requires donor eggs:
The UAE is not the right destination. Spain, Cyprus, and Greece are the established options for donor egg IVF with internationally accredited laboratories.

IVF Success Rates in Dubai: Real Data by Age Group
If you have already been through one or two cycles without a pregnancy, this is the section that matters most to you.
No clinic anywhere guarantees a successful cycle. Any that does is not one you want treating you.
What Dubai's DHCCA-regulated hospitals do offer is laboratory standards independently verified to international benchmarks.
Global IVF live birth rates by age (ESHRE ART surveillance data):
| Age at Treatment | Approximate Live Birth Rate per Transfer |
|---|---|
| Under 35 | 30- 40% |
| 35 to 37 | 25- 35% |
| 38 to 40 | 15- 25% |
| 41 to 42 | 8- 15% |
| Over 42 | 3- 8% |
These are global reference ranges based on ESHRE ART surveillance data, not hospital-specific figures. Actual outcomes depend on protocol, diagnosis, embryo quality, and whether PGT was applied.
What Dubai's hospitals offer that affects your chances:
Time-lapse embryo incubation systems, which monitor development continuously without disturbance
PGT (preimplantation genetic testing) to screen embryos for chromosomal abnormalities before transfer
Vitrification (rapid freeze) protocols for frozen embryo transfer cycles, which ESHRE data links to improved outcomes
For patients who have failed cycles elsewhere: the most common reasons for repeated implantation failure are embryo chromosomal abnormalities (which PGT identifies), endometrial receptivity issues, and laboratory environment quality.
Dubai's DHCCA-regulated labs address the third directly. PGT addresses the first.
If you are researching IVF after failed cycles specifically, read IVF Abroad After Failed Cycles, which covers the practical and emotional considerations unique to that situation.

How to Travel to Dubai for IVF: Timeline, Visas and What to Expect
Once you have decided, the logistics need to work. Here is exactly what to plan for.
How long does a fresh IVF cycle take in Dubai?
Plan for 12 to 18 days on the ground. A frozen embryo transfer cycle (using embryos already frozen from a previous cycle) takes 5 to 7 days.
Day-by-day timeline:
- Days 1 to 3: Pre-cycle consultation, blood tests, and ultrasound. My 1Health can arrange a video consultation with your chosen clinic before you fly, so you arrive with a confirmed protocol.
- Days 1 to 10: Stimulation phase. Daily hormone injections, which you self-administer. Monitoring appointments every 2 to 3 days at the clinic. You must be physically in Dubai for these.
- Day 10 to 14: Egg retrieval, a short procedure under sedation. My 1Health coordinates transport to and from the clinic.
- Days 1 to 5 post-retrieval: Fertilisation and embryo culture in the laboratory. You can rest or explore Dubai during this period.
- Day 3 or Day 5: Embryo transfer, a brief procedure requiring no anaesthesia.
- Days 10 to 14 post-transfer: Waiting period before the pregnancy blood test. Patients can stay in Dubai or return home for this window.
Accommodation
My 1Health recommends and books accommodation within 10 to 15 minutes of your chosen clinic.
Serviced apartments are the most popular choice for fertility patients; they offer kitchen access and more privacy than hotel rooms during a treatment cycle. We coordinate this as part of your trip.
Visas:
Most GCC nationals: no visa required.
Most Western passport holders: visa on arrival or tourist e-visa.
Nigerian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Kenyan nationals: pre-arranged visa required.
My 1Health coordinates the hospital invitation letter needed for the medical visa application.
For the full visa process step by step, read How to Apply for a Medical Visa to the UAE.
What My 1Health handles at no cost to you:
- Hospital appointment scheduling aligned with your cycle dates
- Visa invitation letter from the hospital
- Airport pickup and drop-off
- Accommodation near your chosen clinic
- On-ground support during monitoring appointments and egg retrieval
- Post-cycle follow-up with your doctor at home
